HOURS: Monday - Friday / 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Within established policies and procedures, performs the duties required to process requests for multi-family and commercial real estate loans. Assist in the servicing and administration of existing loans. Participates in the acquisition of high quality real estate loans from other sources. Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Duties:

OPERATIONS
Maintain a working and technical knowledge of the mortgage origination, processing, funding and servicing system. Act as the primary contact to close approved loan requests, to include drawing of loan documents, completion of necessary forms, preparing wires and funding of loans. As assigned, enter HMDA and other loan/borrower data into the mortgage system. Provide back up support to Loan Processor and process new loan application packages to submit them to the Income Property Loan Officer or Underwriter, As needed, complete Post Closing and Trailing Document audits on Income Property loans and follow up with vendors for revisions or missing documentation. Assist in the preparation of Internal Asset Review files of funded loans. Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports are completed accurately and distributed to appropriate staff.

SALES AND SERVICE
Respond to phone, written, e-mail or other inquiries concerning Multi-Family and Commercial Real Estate Loan programs offered. Demonstrate knowledge of programs by educating loan applicants and loan sources. Assist all inquirers and fellow employees in a friendly, efficient and professional manner in accordance with established service standards. Provide same business day response to inquiries, questions and loan qualification problems. Place reminder calls to borrowers or complete special projects as requested by Management. As assigned, participate in the due diligence of acquired loan assets.
Qualifications:
  • Two or more years experience in mortgage opening, closing and funding.
  • Experience and/or demonstrated technical skills and knowledge in the following areas:
  • Overall financial institution organization, operations, products and regulations.
    Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulations regarding multi-family and commercial real estate lending.
    Working and communicating with escrow and title company personnel.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to efficiently utilize a loan origination system to process and fund real estate loans.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
